Key moments and programme detail

Matching

You will be teamed-up with 5 other individuals with complementary skill-sets to complete a live project to support the work of an organization in the developing world.

WEEK 1

Project Prep and Development Training

To start, we will send you your custom brief which will help steer your work over the course of the programme. You’ll also participate in a virtual International Development training session to ground you in the programme and the developing world.

WEEK 2

Live Team Briefing

Here is when you'll meet your TIE team members and the participant organization, to discuss the brief; address any questions you have, and how you’ll work together over the next few weeks.

WEEK 3

Team Work and Live Virtual Mentoring

You’ll work closely with your team and participant organization to flex your problem solving skills. At the end of this week you'll have a LIVE virtual check in with TIE to ensure you're on the right track.

WEEK 4 & 5

Team Work and Live Virtual Mentoring

It's at this stage of the game that theory stops and practice kicks in. This is where the magic starts to happen. At the end of week 4 we will have another LIVE virtual session with TIE.

WEEK 6

Final Presentation, Evaluation and Reflection

The programme will culminate with you presenting your final work to the organisation and to TIE; plus, a moment to reflect on your experience, impact and skills developed. You will receive the Post TIE Accelerator guide to help you carry these learnings and experience forward. And once you have completed all of the course requirements you will receive a formal Certificate of Completion.

Timings and cost

Once accepted, participants will be expected to pay the full programme fee: £995 + applicable taxes. This covers the full course of the curriculum, and allows us to run this programme without passing any costs to our partners in the developing world. But you need to be quick to apply! We have a limited number of projects and places available. Once the projects are full, successful applications will then be put on a waiting list for the next round of opportunities that become available.
