WEEK 1
PURPOSE
AND SCOPE
Project Preparation and Development Training
Here is where it starts. We will send you your custom brief which will help steer your work over the course of the programme. You’ll also participate in your group virtual International Development training sessions to ground you in the programme and the developing world.
WEEK 2
IMMERSION
AND VISIONING
Project Preparation and Live Team Briefing
This week is where you’ll finalise the preparation for the project and continue to get your head around the brief, the organisation and the country you’re working with. You’ll also meet with your TIE team members and the participant organisation to discuss the brief, address any questions you have, and plan how you’ll work together over the next few weeks.

REFRAMING
AND PLANNING

Virtual Mentoring
You’ll work closely with your team and participant organisation to truly understand the realities of where you’re working, the challenges faced, and flex your problem-solving skills. At the end of this week you’ll have a LIVE virtual check in with TIE to ensure you’re on the right track.

Virtual Mentoring
It’s at this stage of the game that theory stops and practice kicks in. This is where the magic starts to happen. At the end of week 4 we will have another LIVE virtual session with TIE.

PRODUCTION AND PROBLEM SOLVING

Here is where you’ll work together in the most effective way in order to make everything possible working across boundaries and with limited resources.

REFLECTION AND
IMPLEMENTATION
Final Presentation, Evaluation and Reflection
The programme will culminate with you presenting your final work to the organisation and to TIE; plus, a moment to reflect on your experience, impact and skills developed. You will receive the Post TIE Accelerator guide to help you carry these learnings and experience forward. And once you have completed all of the course requirements you will receive a formal Certificate of Completion, and your hours will go towards your CPD.
Timings and cost
Once accepted, participants will be expected to pay the full programme fee: £1299 + applicable taxes. Be quick to apply! We have a limited number of projects and places available. Once the projects are full, successful applications will then be put on a waiting list for the next round of opportunities that become available.
